HOW THEY MET

Their story began in 2008. Anil and Kristin had similar majors at Penn State University, and therefore had many of the same classes together. One of those classes was a lab, and although not partners, they sat at the same table and occasionally exchanged pleasantries. One day after class they were both packing up their belongings after the rest of the class had left. Kristin noticed how meticulously Anil was packing up his laptop, while she haphazardly threw all of her belongings into her backpack. Some things never change… Kristin decided to wait for him to finish up so they could walk to the bus stop together. This walk was a pivotal, life-changing moment for the both of them, even though it seemed small and insignificant at the time. From that day forward, they grew to become best friends and spent every day together for the next two years. Today, they can’t remember a time without the other in their life. The moral of the story is, if it wasn’t for Kristin, we wouldn’t be here today. Thank you, Kristin. While Kristin was getting ready to graduate and move back to Pittsburgh, Anil mustered up the courage to ask her to be his girlfriend. She was hesitant at first, but couldn’t deny the fact that this boy had stolen her heart. Eight years later, Kristin was still PATIENTLY waiting for Anil to pop the question. In Anil’s words, “It had to be an event that was monumental and had never happened before; The Eagles winning their first Super Bowl.” On February 4, 2018, the Eagles defeated the New England Patriots, 41-33. Surrounded by their friends on a hotel balcony in downtown Philadelphia, Anil got down on one knee and asked Kristin to marry him. She screamed, “Yes!”
